I thought I was menapausal then my period returned, now I have been getting cramps and diaharrea all night . Is this a normal side effect or something else.

Yes, this could be a sign of perimenopause (the beginning of menopause). Women in the menopause have irregular periods, meaning it could come this month and skip the next month. Digestive problems like diarrhea, constipation, belching are all signs of perimenopause.

This means that you are still ovulating but not regularly and that your sexual hormones started declining.

I have had diahareea for 3 months . I am perimeopausal. Ive had all kinds of tests but nothing shows up. if this caused by perimenipaus how long can the diaharrea last? And what can I do to get it under control.
