Over the past couple of months I have been suffering from headaches across the back of head (which i simply put down to tension). I have also noted that i am regularly gasping for air. This is not so much a medical worry as its almost like I not being able to catch a breath when you yawn for example- but it is frustrating.
What has started to cause me some concern however, is that I have suddenly started getting loads of pressure behind the eyes and have what appear to be brief fits that last literally a split second. Almost feels like ive slammed brakes on in my car and almost given myself whiplash! (crazy fool)! This can happen both day or night -watching t.v etc. I am 39 yrs old / male and never had it before so you can imagine it is slightly concerning. The reason I have suddenly become concerned is because whereas the 'jerks' are usually just one or two suddenly out the blue, last night I had three consecutive ones and more severe than before (thought i was going to snap my spine!). Im worried they may be getting worse!
I am generally fit and healthy and not usually worried about health issues. Whilst having re read the above it sounds like im on the scrap heap ive just tried to be honest about the symptoms with a view to making the diagnosis a lot simpler!I dont want to go to my doctor just yet incase its normal!?! Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks. o.O

Let me tell you this: first and foremost if you have odd symptoms, it is ALWAYS worth your time to go to the doctor, even if it feels like a weaste. Better a professional opinion than finding out later that you have something that was treatable that now can't be treated! Now, it sounds like this could be stress related so it would be worth a trip to the doctor just to ensure that's the case. What do you think?
