Hello I am 19 and for almost as long as I can remember I have had this problem. On occasion when I go to look or turn my head to the side it involuntarily jerks to that side and is immediately followed by a burning sensation on the back of my head, just on whatever side jerked, and that side of my tongue kind of burns and feels like someone is pushing down on it very hard. I find it hard to talk when this happens. I have been to the neurologist when i was younger but they couldn't find what was wrong. I would appreciate it if anyone could give me a clue to what this could be.

It sounds like a type of whiplash you get when your neck is misaligned. This happens to me on occasion, especially if I haven't seen a chiropractor in many weeks.
I suggest you see a chiropractor in your area. See who's covered by your insurance or if any local chiropractor has a cheaper payment plan outside of insurance. Many do.
