I'm 15 and in december I had unprotected sex on the 20th and the 27th, I did a pregnancy test around 3-4 weeks after and again 2 days later and both were neg. But recently I have been incredibly tired (could just be because I'm anaemic but I'm never usually this tired) and my periods have been strange in consistency and colour, where they would usually be red in colour and very heavy with very painful cramps they are very light barely any cramping and light pink or brown in colour, it is almost as though I am having what is called spotting, could I be pregnant? Is it worth doing another test/going to the doctors or?

Hi Nay,

If you're anemic it can change your periods and also make you more tired.

Testing 3-4 weeks after you had sex, it should be accurate IF you followed directions and used your first morning (wakeup) urine.  It is more concentrated so more likely to give an accurate result.

When were your periods before and after December?

I have known I have been anaemic since around maybe October so I don't think that would cause the sudden change. My periods were very messed up around December time with me coming on normally on the 6th and then again on the 20th so I'm not quite sure what went on there. I did not test in the morning though I tested in the evening both times.

Test once more, in the morning.

I'd suggest you see your doctor as well. Your symptoms aren't specific to pregnancy (other things can cause them).

Good luck.
