Hi i am 20 year old female...virgin. i am in a relationship right now, we are serious about eachother. however, we both want to make sure about our virginity. i know that i am a virgin my self, but my question is, how do i know that he is a virgin? i know it is easy to determine a girl's virginty, it's their hymen. What about the guys?

Have either of you had sex? If you have, you are NOT virgins. If you have not, you ARE virgins. The hymen is a thin piece of skin that can break through horseback riding, gymnastics, tampon usage, masturbation, and many others ways. Some people aren't even born with a hymen! On the other side, if a hymen is strong enough, the penis small enough, or the boy gentle enough, a girl can have sex one, two or even three times without breaking her hymen. Therefore, the hymen is not a good indicator of someone's virginity. Also, the boy doesn't have a hymen or anything like that so there is no other way to determine his virginity other than asking him whether or not he's had sex.
P.S. If you and your boyfriend aren't old or mature enough to understand your own anatomy, perhaps you shouldn't be having sex. Learn more about your physical selves and focus on your studies. Wait a few years and THEN have sex. Just my suggestion.
