Hello, good people. My father has been diagnosed with asbestosis. It is logical since he has been working with asbestos for more than 20 years. His doctor recommended oxygen therapy in home. I would like to know if this is really needed. What do you think? Thanks for replying. Bye, folks!

Hi. I think you should listen to your father’s doctor. Oxygen therapy for asbestosis is often needed at home. It relieves from shortness of breath which this patients often complain to. Your father should also go for respiratory physiotherapy. There are some techniques to remove the secretion from the lungs. Those are: postural drainage, vibration and chest percussion. I hope your father will feel better. Good luck with all! Bye!
