This may sound silly but i'm really not sure. I'm 23, just graduated from college and hoping to get the preputial plasty procedure to cure my phimosis. It's just under $2000 for the procedure, and i'm getting some quotes from health insurance companies, but would the phimosis be considered a pre-existing condition? For one, i dont really want to discuss my d**k and whether it'd be covered with some lady working for the insurance company. I've had phimosis all my life, didn't need the procedure till now, didn't even really consider it a problem till recent years. Also, i'm hearing that with a pre-existing condition i wont be able to get insurance coverage for it at all. So do i have any options? Do i just act stupid, and act like it's not a pre-existing condition? I know it sounds like i'm trying to cheat the insurance or something, but i'm really not. I just want to get the procedure done and hopefully not have to pay out of pocket...
