I guess it is never enough to learn something about the STD, or any kind of infection that is related to the sex organs. And it seems that I will have something more to learn about, because I have been diagnosed with herpes simplex. Is there a 100% effective therapy for this condition?

As far as I know, there is no definite cure for this condition only the meds for subduing the symptoms and I think that acyclovir is one of those. The only thing you can do now is always use a condom so that you do not spread it to your sexual partners.
