So about two months back i was riding along in a car and i got a severe sharp pain under my right ribecage. I went to the ER right away in fear of something life threatening. They told me i might have IBS and said to go to a GI doctor. After this trip to the ER in the days to come, i started to get more pain in my stomach (not as sharp) just a very burning weak, pulsating kind of feeling below my right ribcage. A few more days past and i noticed the ribs on my right side were a little sore to the touch. After this i went to the GI doctor and got and Endoscopy done and they also did a biopsy. The test results came back that i have an enflammed Esophagus and Acid reflux. They gave me some Prilosec to take for this and said call them back in a few weeks to a month. As this month progressed my stomach started to hurt in other places: under the left ribcage, where the ribcage meets in the middle above the belly button, and my chest felt heavier along with some increased difficulty in breathing. I ended up calling them back about 1 1/2 weeks later because the pain had gotten worse, they set me up for another appointment a week from that. During that week i started to get sharp pains in my chest sometimes and all around my stomach, i also had rectal pain. I went in to visit the GI doctor once agian, and he set me up for blood tests, a urine test, and an Ultrasound of the abdomen. I went in two days later to get the tests done. After the tests they told me i would need to wait a week or two to get results back. In this time things got worse, i started to get pinching pains all around in my torso, I had started to develop pain in my back, my sharp pains i got in my stomach got more frequent, it hurt more to go to the bathroom, i had a fluctuating fever for about a week or so. I recently got the test results of the Ultrasound/bloodwork/and urine tests back and they said it all came back normal. I told that that the pain had gotten a lot worse and they told me to double the dose of Prilosec. This short story of my pain brings me to the current day. So today i have most the symptoms i listed prior (except for fever) and now i have a few new symptoms. In the past week i have had Shooting pain that started in my forearm, and it seemed to travel to my hands, It is also in my neck. Now my hands are sore and keep having this pulsating shooting pain, some of my fingers hurt bad when i bend them, and i also have shooting pain around my groin area and in my thighs and neck. One other major concerning symptom i have is shooting pain in my private area. The only other constant symptoms i have had are fatigue, weakness, and insomnia.

-- I realize this is a barrage of symptoms and information but i have been trying anything and everything that comes my way to figure out what is going on. --

ANY information or feedback would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU so much for taking your time to read this.

Hi Johnny: When I was reading your symptoms the first thing that came to my mind was Crohn's Disease, below is a list of ALL what can be the symptoms of this, please keep in mind that they mention ALL the symptoms, you don't have to have ALL of them to have the Disease! Since you have already been diagnosed with Acid Reflux - this CAN be a precursor to Crohn's! See what you think!

When you get frightening symptoms as you have had! You will start noticing EVERYTHING! and even the slightest twinge you will have in your mind as a "OMG!!!! What is that?!" So just know that this is normal! I was recently diagnosed with a rare syndrome - 1 in 500,000!!!!!!! And now I notice everything that is going on, I feel like I'm becoming a hypochondriac!!!! So try not to focus too much on the various aches and pains OK? It sounds like you are in good hands, but it is a good idea to bring up things to doctors! BUT I will caution you on doing too much research on line OK? Once you put in your symptoms, you can end up diagnosing yourself with "Chinese Purple Horse Flu!!!!!" ;-) XD Just listen to your doctors AND your body OK? Good luck and health, and please let me know how you make out!
