Three months ago the day that my period began I noticed that i was really itchy down below. so i got a mirror and looked and sure enough i had two circles, they started out red and then turned swollen and purple. they itch but they also hurt alot. at first i thought my husband had been unfaithful so we had this big talk and im convinced that he wasnt. because they went away when my period ended and the next month they came back the day i got my period. and now again this month they are back again. they show up the day my period starts and they go away about 2 or 3 days after my period ends. im starting to believe that it must be a hormonal thing. does anyone else experience anything like this. and i also have one on my finger that isnt purple. but this too also shows up with my period and leaves around the time my period leaves. im just at a complete loss and dont know what else to think. any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!

My first thought was vericose veins, but that wldnt explain the one on ur finger. When I was pregnant, I got them starting from the back of my thigh, and also around the vagina, and they look just like what u described in the areas where they r clustered. I get the itching before my period too...almost feels like A yeast infection, but it all goes away right after my cycles done. The veins can b painful, especially when I'm on my feet a lot.
