i'm 21 and i have always had normal periods, but my last normal period was in may of 2010 about 3 mouths before my birthday i didn't get my next period until late september or early october i had it for about 2 months then it stopped for 2 months again and i just got it back what's wrong with me i've never had problems before

Hi! For most women, an irregular period is nothing to be worried about, but sometimes this is caused by more serious condition. Polycystic ovary syndrome can drastically delay your period. Have you seen your gynecologist lately? Stress is a common cause of irregular periods too. A poor diet or extreme weight loss or gain can also affect your hormones. I doubt this could be related to your possible miscarriage two years ago. You should see your gynecologist in order to rule this out. Take care.

thank you for your opinion i appreciate it i plain on it but i dont have insurance yet so i am a little over weight but i wouldn't think that was it cuz i always have been do you really think i could go 9 year with a regular period then all of a sudden it being that off. Imo mostly worried because me and my husband want to have kids is this going to mess that up for us
