Hi, I feel a constant pain in my kidney area that became suddenly and unexpected. I also feel irritation, especially when I urinate. Could this be kidney stone symptoms?

Hi, I had the same symptoms five months ago. The pain was sharp and constant. I went to doctor, and when he got my x-ray results, he diagnosed me with kidney stone. The symptoms of kidney stone are the most horrible thing I have ever experienced. A doctor said that I probably won’t need a surgery, because my kidney stone is not that big. The only thing I should to is drink plenty of fluids and remove the stone through my urinary system. It was hard and painful, but I managed to do it right. When my kidney stone was gone, the symptoms disappeared too. I continued to drink 2l of water a day to prevent getting another kidney stone .
