my elder sister has an ovarian cyst. she is 28 years old. she had a misscarriage before 6 months. she got married 2 years back. she has no pain, no discomfort at all, recently she has gone through a ultrasound system and got to know that she has a cyst in her left ovary..the size is like 7.5* 2.5 cm ! her CA-125 result shows 82.95 ! n here doctors r saying that its a Chocolate cyst. they referred us to go through a Laproscopy ! will it be okay if u do so? i ll be a great help if i get to hear from here !

im from sacramento. i just had a ovarian cyst on my left ovary that was over 7cm also. it was removed laprascopicly about 4 weeks ago. i know that each situation is different but i have been having some bleeding complications from mine. i actually have been reading other posts about this. it seems that it is typical to have a cycyle right afer surgery and it can be a little irregular. but mine has been lasting for about 4 weeks nonstop. i also have fibroids and endometriosis, so this may be the cause of it. i dont really know. i do feel that it is a good idea to have it removed though. I wish yuor sister the best of luck.
