Hello. I'm 24 year old female and just recently I've developed some serious problems with my menstrual periods.
I have never experienced any discomfort related to my menstruation before but these last couple of months it has become unbearable. Not only that it become totally irregular, but some serious bleeding occurred also. This last time, after two months break, bleeding was accompanied with strong pains and small parts of bloody tissue. This got me really worried. Please tell me what I could do about this.
Should I be worried or this is something that usually resolves by its own?

Hello. I see that you're frightened and that’s why I will tell you some important stuff about your problem.
Variations in amount of blood is pretty normal thing to feel and bleeding may be something to worry about if occurs between periods, after intercourse, or if you are over age 50 and in most cases it is caused by some hormonal imbalances. One more thing, you didn’t mentioned are you sexually active or not. This could be important because your symptoms could point also on miscarriage. After two months break, bloody tissue…everything point on it.
Whatever is the cause, visiting your gynecologist should definitely be your next step.

Hi
I am a 22 year old female who had all the symptoms of pregnancy last month; then my faince accidentally kicked me in the side whilst we were playing, and teh next day i had cold shivers and sweats, with ibncredible painful cramps. I started bleeding very heavily the following day and the pains were so bad i couldnt get out of bed. I thought i was having a miscarraige. I went to a gynae and he checked me out but it was already a week later and he said there was no miscarraige and i had just had a delayed period. This didnt at all feel right to me as I am positive that i was pregnant. It took me two weeks to be able to get out of bed. The enire month i have been feeling weak and dizzy.
Yesterday my period for this month started. With it came extremely bad cramps - ive never had such bad ones before; and when i check my pad to change it there are clumps 'tissue' on them; about the size of a 20c coin, and they are rubbery, not soft, and some are roundish and some are long. I feel faint and dizzy and sore.
Does anyone have any idea what this could be? Should I go back to the doctor? Im very worried as I am very much wanting to start a family soon

I've just found out that two weeks after my menstruation each month, I have a bloody discharge which usually lasts up to eight hours. I have never been sexually active and am almost thirty now. I am worried about this.
