:-( im trying to figure out something here. any advice would be great. got off birth control in may had my normal period in may and june which lasted 4 days both months and was anywhere between 22 and 29 days which has been for the past six months even though i was on bc. but july rolls around and i was waiting and waiting and it was 31 days past when i finally started and i took clomid to kindof help because i wasnt getting pregnant. but it started kindof brownish which i thought was unnormal and it lasted for 7 days and that has not happend for a long time. and it was really heavy. i think of what i can remember. but i didnt think i was going to stop. and when i took a test before i started it had a faint line like your eyes were playing tricks on you so i just brushed it off because if i was pregnant it would show up right. and then about a couple weeks later. i forgot i had put it aside and i found it and sure enough it had a 2nd line. so i was scared i could have been pregnant. but i also know that you are not to trust them after 10 min. so any advice. could i be pregnant and have my period? also starting at the end of july started to use the pull out method. so i dont know im not going into my many details but i just want some answers or advice. i really dont want to go to the dr. ive been there before and i feel like she thinks im crazy and i dont want another dr bill.

Hey you! How come you and I keep getting put together?!!!!! ;-) The brownish period was because your period was later than usual! Brown means that the uterine lining was old! The Clomid make you produce more progesterone - thus the heavier period! This should balance out by the next one. I know you've been trying for a bit, but why are you using the pull out method if you are on Clomid - or is that part of the routine - where you try on certain days? The faint line turning into a double - is TOTALLY because it was old!

Depending on when you are supposed to have intercourse with the Clomid, there is no need to go to your doctor honey! This sounds totally normal to me! You now know the Clomid is working, so now you have to keep your end of the bargain - so to speak - and make love on the days of ovulation etc. THEN after a couple of weeks take another test, but this time take the one that actually says yes or no! Some of those can drive you nuts trying to decifer what it means. Good luck and health honey!
