Hi, I was diagnoised poly cystic ovaries 3 yrs before, for that i got treatment and my period was normal. Now I missed my period, my last period was on june 15, on july 27 i got little bleeding only for 2 days, until now i didnt get my period. I did home pregnancy test, it was negative. I have symptoms like nausea, frequent urination, constipation, back pain, often tiredness, irritation, slight lower abdominal pain, and I feel my stomach is hard nd little bigger than normal, and i also gained weight . I went to doc she did urine test it shows negative, then i went for ultra sounds ,it was not clear,so the docter says i am not pregnent nd given me tablet to have my periods. still i dont have the scan reports. doc says that women with pcos is very less chance to get pregnant, after treatment also
Roqsa Tazeen: after treatment also there is no guarntee that i ll get pregnent .I am confused,to have the tablets or should i need to wait.I am already 27 want to have a baby.Is there any chance to have baby with cyst. or i ll never get pregnant. Really need advice.

Actually honey, your story is IDENTICAL to another lady I was talking too several months ago! I am NOT a doctor honey, but I just want to say hold off with the pills for bit OK? The other young lady took about 6 HPT and one at a hospital and they all said negative, then she had a blood test at her doctors office and low and behold she was pregnant! so I want you to wait 1 more week and then ask for a blood test! JUST to make totally sure!! It is harder to become pregnant when you have POCS BUT since you have being having normal periods then I would think that your chances improved dramatically! You are definitely showing signs of pregnancy, BUT PCOS can also have the same symptoms!
Could you tell me when you had unprotected sex? I know about your periods, but I can help you further! Just hold off with the pills OK?

I also have been diagnosed with poly cystic ovaries. The symptoms could be due to many things, like diet change, or the nausea and irritability etc could be due to the other symptoms of constipation or back pain. Visiting the doctor for a blood test is always the best way to start, if the blood test comes out negative it could be that you where never pregnant or that your body naturally miscarriaged (happens to many, including myself), wich would be sad as you would like a child. Personally i wouldn't take the pills either way, but would seek other medical tests and advice. Hope things went well and will get better.

Hello Everyone! Well I must say this has been the strangest 13 months of my life. My husband and I went off the pill in July 08 and started trying to get pregnant in Aug. 08. We thought it was going to be relatively easy to conceive since we are both healthy and we are at the right age to conceive since I was 26 and he was 29. Anyways after I went off the pill my period was normal for 2 months but then in October I skipped my period and had tons of pregnancy symptoms but all HPTs were negative. I was sure I was pregnant since I had breast tenderness, emotional, nauseous, had light spotting which seemed like implantation for like a day, fatigue, was very tired and sleepy, etc. We went to the doctor (went to Women's Health on base since hubby is Air Force) and they said I was not pregnant and that skipping periods is normal and to come back in 6 months if I still did not have a period. So for 5 more months I spotted regularly and would skip periods altogether. I went back to Women's Health who provided me with strange explanations and did not check anything. I went to my regular doctor who claimed it was my thyroid and started me on meds for it. Then we moved to another base and the problems continued. I skipped my period in May and then spotted continuously for 2 months. Finally at the end of July I found a great doctor. He checked all of my blood work and found the thyroid medicine was not necessary and was making me feel awful, he did an HSG to check my tubes which were clear, checked my ovaries and said they looked good, and checked my husband's counts which were perfect. Anyways he said I may have PCOS but said he definitely felt like I was not ovulating so he placed me on clomid. I took 50mg of clomid Aug. 29-Sept. 2 and we did in fact ovulate according to OPKs so now we are waiting and hoping for positive results. It is so difficult to get doctors to list to what you are saying and getting them to arrive at the fact that there is a problem. Hopefully some of what I have said will help and I wish you the best of luck.

Thankyou for your story Loryanna! Like I have stated in other posts, you HAVE to listen to your body! And don't take "No!" or mediocre treatment lightly! Since I have become a supporter on here, there have been MANY unusual things happen with womens health issues. And a lot of it is women feeling like there's something going on and their doctors not following up! I have started many of my responses with suggestions for these women and men to ask for certain tests! As a person who has never experienced these things before will not know what to ask for! So I wish YOU a positive outcome and I hope all your dreams come true! Fingers crossed for all of you on here!
