I noticed about 2 months ago that my left nut was hanging much lower than ever before, found out there was a spermatocele on the spermatic cord as well. I had major abdominal surgery back in February to stop the bleeding from a hematoma that busted but I can't see why that would cause something like this. There's no cremasteric reflex on the left side either, it just bugs me because for the first 31 years of my life it wasn't like this. I'd like to find out what I can do to correct it.

Hi JSC,
See a urologist for an exam.
The lack of a cremasteric reflex is a concern. While unlikely at your age it can indicate testicular torsion or even nerve damage.
Good luck.

Thanks medic-dan, Saw a urologist, said testicles were fine. I really believe there is nerve damage because I thought I had a pulled groin back in January before the surgery, got so bad I couldn't even walk upright because of the pain in the upper left leg. I still have numbness in the upper part of my left leg and it took forever after the surgery to where I could even run or jump with that leg.

I assumed you had already seen a urologist. Good. I'm glad the testicles themselves are OK. You may consider seeing a neurologist. The numbness you have now could be related.

I very well may do that. I just don't understand why the left one is hanging lower and looser than ever before, it bugs me. It had to have something to do with all the mess I went through. I remember the last couple times I had sex my wife commented on how she could feel my nuts and I thought that's weird, you never could before, hope nothing's wrong. After the whole ordeal upon leaving the hospital in February though we ended up getting a divorce because I wanted to go to mom's house(with her) to recover. Still blows my mind.
Didn't notice the low hanging until July though but I was just concerned on getting well for the first three months(all this was apparently brought on by me trying to treat my leukemia naturally apparently) So who knows how long it's been like this.

Also the left testicle hangs horizontally instead of vertically and is much looser and lower than the right one.

Hard to say on that. I would think the urologist would have checked it out.
Some medications can cause problems with both the nerves and muscles.
Wish I had more for you.
