My 6 year old garndson had his tonsils out 9 days ago. Two days ago he started to complain about his leg hurting and this morning he couldn't walk. My daughter and son-in-law took him to the emergengy room and I am still waiting to hear something. Is this a common problem after havinh your tonsils removed?

What was the outcome? My daughter age 12 had her tonsils & adenoids out three weeks ago. She's now complaining at times she gets pain in her right leg.
