My fiance had intercourse on October 3, 2006 and we both had orgasms. The last day of my menstral cycle was on October 2, 2006. We had intercourse again last night and when we finished I noticed that I was spotting extremely lightly which only lasted a few minutes. I am a mother of an 8 year old and I didn't have spotting with my daugher. I have never had a history of cervical cancer or sexually transmitted diseases. What could this mean? Could this mean I am pregnant? Could you please give me some answers and advice on this. Thank you!

By the dates my guess would be no, that you aren't pregnant. But if your not sure it never hurts to take a test. As for the spotting, it isn't uncommon for a women to spot after intercourse even if she isn't pregnant. He could have irritated something inside you that caused you to bleed slightly. And if you are pregnant it is very common to spot after intercourse. Alot of women spot even after a pap smear. I wouldn't worry to much about it unless you become late for your period. Then take a test to determine if you are pregnant or not.
