I always had on and off palpitations I had all the test to make sure they weren't dangerous and cardiologist said not to worry about them.
Yesterday I came down with cold-flu and I was feeling very uncomfortable with the runny nose and crying eyes I took an antihistamine to relieve the symptoms..  I had taken the medication before and never felt any of the side effects.
The composition of the pill is pseudoephedrine 120gr and ebastine 10mg.  A couple of hours after I took the tablet I had a palpitation that went, 45 minutes after I had a massive one that I also felt in my head and made me feel light headed.
While doing research about the medication I came across long qt syndrome sometimes a fatal arrhythmia that can be triggered by certain medications like antihistamines.
I am very worried now I will not take medication but my worry is that I suffer from the long qt syndrome triggered by the medication.
Any advice?

An alternative explanation is that you may be having a reaction to pseudoephedrine, which can cause high blood pressure, irregular heart beat and dizziness.  Stop taking your antihistamine now and see if your symptoms will go away.
