My little sister (Who's 10, almost 11) had been sneeking around my room when me and my friend came in, so she hid. My friend had just lost her virginity and was telling me how it hurt her. It came to the point where my litle sister got scared and ran out crying. She has been doing re-search and found out it dosn't hurt as much if you lost it as a child (Horseback riding or whatever). She keeps beging me to tell her what she should (horse back riding or any other sport) do to break the haymen as pain free as possible. I never did sports or have I lost my virginity yet. I feel really bad for her and I really want to tell her what she should do. She keeps asking if it bleeds alot, how much pain do you feel, ect. As I said beforeI feel really bad and in a way it was my fault for letting my friend talk about it when I know she's always hiding in my room. Will someone please give me some ideas on what to tell her. She mostly just wants to know how to lose her haymen without feeling pain.

P.S. sorry for such a long post

Well, since she already knows, you should talk to her about that just as you would about any other health related subject. Maybe you should get your mother involved too. She'll find out more about it sooner or later. It is important for her to realize that loosing virginity is a normal process in our life just as getting your first period is.
