Hi, I am 17 and I'm freaking out because i have been getting this abundant white discharge from my vagina for the past four days. I know I dont have any STDs because I have only had sex with one person who I am one hundred percent positive does not have an STD because he is my boyfriend of two years. I have been on a combination birth control pill for about two months now, so I dont think this problem is being caused by that since its very recent. I thought it was maybe a yeast infection but im not sure. I am getting the white discharge characterized by yeast infections, but my vagina is not burning or incredibly itchy. It is a little itchy if i provoke it though and a little tender when i touched it, but if it wasnt for the discharge, I wouldnt notice anything abnormal. The discharge is odorless. I cant go to the doctor cause I dont have health insurance but this problem is really uncomfortable, help!!!!!

I have had these symptoms before and have usually found it to be thrush (a yeast infection)
You can buy an oral pill over the counter at a pharmacy or a pessary that dissolves and clears everything up. Dont leave it untreated as it can cause a pelvic inflamatory disease. Also your partner should take a pill too so he doesnt pass it back to you. Thrush can be caused by a number of things, soaps, washing detergants and wearing tight clothing and non cotton underwear.
