Hi. I am a 17 year old female and i have experienced this pain and its awful! It may not be exceuciating but it is enough to awake me from my sleep. It hurts even when laying now. It is swollen at one portion of my lower left side of my back ( not red though) and it is in line with my hip on the left and is hot. I iced it and it cooled of but the pain remains. I was wondering if its cancer, kidney problems or a hip problem or even bones. i have a history of juvenile arthritis that disappeared 6 years back and have ANA. Also, i suffered from bursittis on my left side as well. (hip) I have no problems with urination so far. however, my family has a history of cancer patients. Please help me! I have school tommorow and i cant sleep or get much done
