Hello, I am 21 years old and I have been having problems with the running nose lately. Doctor said that it is most likely some sort of allergy and he prescribed me with Zyrtec. I admit that the medication helped me, but since I am feeling great now, can I lower the dosage on ,y own or should I contact my doctor?

Well, you would do good to consult the doctor but the entire situation is not that severe. Runny nose is not a dangerous thing, but if it returns after you have stopped with the therapy, perhaps you should look into the problem a bit more. Meaning that the allergen might be constantly present or that there might be some underlying condition.
