I had a cough over a year ago and ever since have had a runny nose when i bend over and a burning sensation like water has gone up it i thought it would clear up but its no better?  I am a dog groomer and wear a mask aswell so dont know if the mask is causing a problem too??

Hello, amie.

It's possible that you have sinusitis caused by some sort of allergy, so consult your doctor regarding this matter. You must do alergo test either way. 

As for other possibilities, do you smoke? Smoking can cause chronic runny nose. It's not very common, but it's one of the solutions.

But, apart from allergy, sinusitis can be caused by infection, also. 

Do you experience any other symptoms, like headaches, facial pain or toothache? And, the most important of all - do you feel this burning sensation when lying down?

If so, it's very good chance that your runny nose is caused by infection. That means visiting a doctor to get proper treatment which includes nasal irrigation and antibiotics.
