I am a 14 year old male and i found a small lump (about a half centimeter in diameter) just below my waistline. It hasn't hurt me or bothered me at all besides the idea of it....it feels like it's just below my skin (because i can lift it up with my skin)

There are few causes for the lump.
The first thing every doctor is saying is an enlarged lymph node. Lymph nodes enlarge when there is inflammation or infection in the region drained by them or in diseases like lymphoma but you are way too young for that so don’t worry.
I would suggest you to have a physical checkup
along with few investigations like blood
tests and ultrasound of the lump. After that your doctor
will be able to determine what is in question so the treatment will follow.
