Hi, I have lumps underneath my skin. They don't hurt and they are located anywhere on my body. I think they might be scar tissue from brusies, because I do remember a few of the spots where I have gotten hit with baseballs before. But the weird thing is, the ones on my right arm are almost in the same spots as the right arm. Could it be lymph nodes that are inflamed? I 2 lumps each on my forearms, biceps, and on my hips. Also I have a few scattered around, like on my stomach area and legs. I was just wondering what they are and if they are life threatening. Thanks.

Do they look somewhat like this? http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/37/Lipoma_02.jpg

If so, I have the same thing in the same locations? I've had them for about 4 years now....Just got one in my chest that scares me. Does anyone know?

If that's the same as what Guest posted, I know that it's probably not a harmful thing. But rather than guess as to what it is, it is a good idea to have them checked out by a dermatologist. Just like virtually every mole on your skin is fine, if one turns out to be melanoma, you are likely to miss it by checking it yourself. So it's a good idea to have a professional to check them out to make sure that they are not malignant. Please keep us posted as to what your doctor says!
