i`m a 37 male, when i use the toilet to empty my bowels, i bleed a lot from my anus. why is this?

You might find it's simply piles that are bleeding. I had this not long ago and the doctor checked me out (not the bes experience of my life!) and just prescribed some pile cream. If it's good red blood, then it's not coming from far inside. if it were, it would have darkened to a browner colour before it came out. Go to the doctor and accept a bit of embarrassment.
