NAET literally saved my life. The practitioner makes the difference. There are a lot of practitioners who, although they hold professional licenses in their fields, can't seem to follow the treatment protocol. I am a universal reactor--EVERYTHING was a problem. Beware of practitioners who "hold you up" to sell you supplements. True NAET is just the treatment and avoidances following tx. It works. It works! Good luck.

I used to think it was a scam but I was so desperate to try anything because I was reacting to vanilla scented perfumes to the extent of their triggering MIGRAINE headaches for me. I took in a (closed/sealed) sample of my daughter's vanilla based perfume into the NAET practitioner and was treated for it. It actually DID work but it worked for a year and then I became susceptible again. But that is STILL better than ANY other allergy remedy I have ever tried and wrecking my liver by constantly taking pharmaceutical allergy medications.I also had the NAET treatment for what my traditional allergist called "oral allergy syndrome" - which is related to severe brich tree allergy. It's that itchy feeling in the mouth when eating pitted fruit or carrots.  Well, that too was mostly a success and that lasted for 2 years before I became susceptible again. So, a year's relief from migraines triggered by vanilla scented perfume and 2 years of being able to eat pitted fruit after not being able to for almost 15 years. I'd say THAT is a good report. Good solid research will show that not all allergy remedies work for all people INCLUDING pharmaceutical stuff. But to say it is an outright scam is FRAUDULENT in itself.

Naet has worked for me, i've received about three months of treatment and i self diagnosed myself with oral allergy syndrome. meaning, almost all fruits caused me to have puffy lips, throbbing/pulsing face, itchy/ fuzzy throat, fuzzy tounge, itchy face, itchy ears, anxiety etc. i had western allergy tests done- blood and skin- for food and showed no food allergies at all. it was very frustrating because i still had reactions when i ate fruit. now after being treated for fruit, along with other things i was sensitive to, i have no reaction to fruit. it has changed my life. having allergies is terrifying and i was desperate to try anything. if you can afford to try it, do it. have patience, the first few treatments need to be done in accordance to your own physiology and your own hormonal makeup before you clear specific foods or allergens.

my practitioner also told me that the only thing she really needs to clear more than once every few years or so is mold, because i live in the midwest in a rivervalley, which is very humid, thus a very moldy environment. the treatment is a lifesaver. if you can afford it what do you have to lose?

| am pleased it helped you. I wish I could say the same. I was diagnosed with a complete milk protein allergy. Scratch and blood tests comfirmed. I paid a lot of mony to a NAET person who confirmed I was cured. Tried to milk and had the usual reaction. I guess it dosent work for everybody. For me the cure is avoidance. I am lucky, i can stay healthly as long as I avoid dairy which turns out is ok and manageable. Now the cat and dust allergies are something else, but I ripped out all my curtains, have wooden floors and run hepa filters. Seems to keep it all under control.

NAET is the best thing that ever happened to me and probably saved me life. I agree with SkyBlue that not all people claiming to practice NAET are qualified, and the key is to make sure you go to someone registered and trained by Dr.  Nambudripad. In order to clear my allergies, I am seeing a chiropractor who has the highest level of certification in NAET. In the process of the regular allergy clearing (which takes a few months), I had to take a steroid for my eye because of a contact injury. I stopped the steroid use after the requisite 5 days but after the first 4 days, I developed a serve pain. The pain persisted  in my eye for the next month and was so bad, I went to a highly respected eye doctor in Philadelphia twice. He did many tests on my eyes and said they were 100% healthy and kept giving me different eye drops to try, saying that it was probably just dry eye. I knew it wasn't dry eye but rather was caused by the steroid. I brought the steroid medicine to my chiropractor who tested me for an allergy to it. Low and behold, I tested very allergic to the medicine and he carried out the NAET process on me then and there so I could clear it. Thanks to him, I no longer have persistent chronic pain, which had slowly been driving me crazy.

Not only it is essential to find the right practitioner, you must take care to avoid the allergy for 25 hours afterwards. I have seen NAET patients be cured or have their symptoms alleviated from: allergies, IBS, Crohn's disease, autism and other illnesses. Clinical trails are currently being conducted in order to prove to skeptics what some of us already know: NAET works!

bowler, NAET is a very successful method for treating most medical problems. It is non invasive to the body and the treatments are drug and needle free. The practioner uses your own body to get better. Check out the website on NAET to locate a doctor near your location. Good luck

I live in Philadelphia and my son (9 yrs.old) and I suffer terribly in our bellies. He was diagnosed with a fructose intolerence. I am just sick with no diagnosis. Is the NAET chiropractor that you speak of close to Philadelphia? I need help for both me and my son.

I have done 11 NAET treatments and am making progress. I have interstitial cystitis, an autoimmune disease. The problem is, I also did a 22-day water fast between treatments 4 and 5, so I don't know what has made me better. Also, I am now able to tolerate supplements, and so don't know of the three things what contributed to my improvement. Since I don't know, I am continuing with the NAET.

My daughter has celiac disease and, as a result of this, has had a series of complications from the leaky gut syndrome.  she is a competitive gymnast so stamina and muscle development is very important.  Before the treatments she was having some trouble with stamina, despite our constant and vigilant efforts to feed her the right foods at the right times to maximize her training.  Nothing was working to the degree that it was necessary. We started NAET treatments and, after the first treatment, she professed that she felt powerful.  She went on to compete in a gymnastics competition and floored everyone with her strength and stamina.  Her coaches were astounded and asked us what was up with her.  We owe it all to NAET.  It was literally DAYS after the treatment that we saw the results.  I don't believe there was a placebo effect as she had no idea why we were there and what to expect to happen, she is only 8 years old and thought we were going for some allergy testing.  I am a true believer and those who say it is a scam should really just try it.

We tried NAET from four different practitioners over ages 1 - 8 years and spent 10s of thousands of dollars all to no real avail.  My dd is anaphylactically allergic to many different things including milk.  She was able to eat eggs for several years but is now allergic again.  NAET didn't touch her anaphylaxis to milk allergy in the least.  We WANTED to believe that it worked.  I can say that one treatment done incorrectly actually sent her INTO an anaphylactic reaction.

I would still like to believe that this method works for some people.  It 100% did not for us.

I am sorry to hear that you have spent so much money and effort on getting the issues fixed.  As in the traditional medical not everything works for everyone.

I have just started NAET. The practioner is very informed and well trained. She answers all my questions and is helpful.

Lots of issues with sinus problems. No sense of smell, constant infections, nasal polyps, numerous nasal polyp surgeries.  Too many steroids (prednisone) antibiotics..anyway you get the picture. All caused by allergies, so they say. Have done 4 different scratch tests, on back, chest, arm, and another on back. One doctor telling me I'm not allergic just sensitive, one telling me I'm allergic to everything, and tested me twice to make sure............Got asthma due to getting allergy shots. Because the lung specialist told me I wasn't allergic and the shots were damaging my system because doctors were putting allergens into a non allergen body. WHAT??????

Found NAET online and decided traditional medicine was not working after 15 years of doing it their way.

My practitioner told me that if someone is born with an allergic response to a food or chemical, that the possibility of correcting it maybe difficult or may not be fixed because it's part of the chemical makeup of the individual. On the other hand, if the person developes issues after birth then the problem can be worked on, and possibly fixed. She reminds me to keep an open mind. She's open about helping me get better in conjunction with traditional medicine. In fact she tells me to continue to work with my doctor and whatever medicines I need to take. Eventually to get off medication.

She also states that sometimes people need to get tweeked if it is shown that they are becoming allergic, or sensitive again, sometimes it happens. When reactions re-occur they are usually less severe.

Think about this, if dd was able to eat eggs for several years then it worked at least for those years.

About the anaphylaxis, I am allergic to aspirin and when I asked about treating the aspirin and worring about having an anaphylaxis reaction, she treats it with a surrogate person. Not sure how to explain what she said, but here goes. Someone that is not allergic to the source (aspirin) comes in and touches my hand while the treatment is done. The healthy surrogate will be the one to hold the vial while I am getting treated. Most of treatment will go into that person, until my body can handle the allergen. If surrogate is not available the vial is placed at a distance from patient so as to not cause a severe reaction. Eventually over a period of a few treatments the vial would be moved closer to patient. The patient should never touch the vial that they have a anaphylaxis reaction to.

The practitioner is to treat the 15 basic allergen group BEFORE treating for the anaphylaxis allergen. She also said that she will check the 15 basic again first before treating the aspirin and if I am weak in any area she would retreat that so I would be strong for the asprin, if I was not strong enough she would test me until I was strong. I had my blood tested for Tryptase to help diagnose the cause of anaphylaxis through my doctor.

Hoping for the best. When traditional medicine fails time to try something else.
