"Dr. Barrett" is a medical/pharmaceutical spokesperson. I am highly suspicious of him. He ALWAYS supports the medical establishment. And he ALWAYS attacks any form of healing that does not favor that medical establishment or big pharma. He attacks naturopaths, chiropractors, etc. under the guise of being a "consumer advocate". He is NOT here to help consumers. He is here to help the pocketbooks of the likes of Merck and Monsanto. I urge people to do their own research and do what is best for them - and not to let themselves be intimidated by the likes of this "Quackwatch" guy.

Interesting, I got told the same thing by my sons GP who had been treating him unsuccessfully for 3 yrs for debilitating skin problems, mainly huge reoccurring boils that were constant. Finally he was referred to the hospital who said he was a typical allergy child and prescribed him a long term dose of antibiotics so strong they warned even his tears would be blue. In desperation, as after 3yrs of near constant antibiotics I was reticent to the idea, and well informed by GPs of the overall negative effects of too many antibiotics, I decided to try the Allergy Elimination Centre. I was highly skeptical but figured I had nothing to lose. He started treatment in the chirstmas school holidays when he was 8yrs old and his legs sported 6 huge, painful volcanic boils. He had 4 treatments, within 10 days all the boils had healed. On returning him to school 4 weeks later, I had 3 staff members approach me at different times asking what I had done with him over the holidays. He had put on weight in that short time, his complexion was healthy and most importantly the boils and excma had gone. He has never (he is now 14yrs old) had another boil. What can I say? For 3 long and ugly years we had battled through conventional medicine with one of the best GPs Auckland had to offer. I can assure you, even tho funded that wasn't cheap. I have wondered over it as I am naturally wired I guess toward conventional medicine and 'proof', I only know it worked and worked well. Needless to say, despite telling me it was a load of 'hocus pocus', his GP had no explanation as to why the boils had gone and my sons health returned. The human body is a complex and wonderful machine.

NAET works. I can eat food again because of it. It's amazing! I can go into more detail if necessary. It seems very odd but it works.

Hi,

How long did it take before you saw improvements in the skin. We are undergoing NAET and it has been helpful in reducing his reaction to foods but so far we haven't seen much of an improvement in his skin. Appreciate any information you can share.

Thanks.

I know NAET works. I have been using this treatment method for about 13 years on MANY allergies for myself, my children and my extended family and friends. The only time it has not been successful was with my husband's milk sensitivity, because it is an enzyme issue, not a regular sensitivity. It is the easiest thing out there, and it actually works. The first time I brought my highly allergic son to the NAET practitioner as a toddler and watched what he did, I thought, "You have got to be kidding me! There goes more money down the drain!" But then, in 24 hours, it worked! We have almost always been able to be healed of the allergy/sensitivity within 24 hours (1 treatment), but with more significant allergies it has taken a few treatments. Some have even required follow up treatments on rare occasion. I noticed a huge allergy to almost every fruit and vegetable creep up on me after taking antibiotics about a year ago and had to do NAET several times before I cleared the allergies, but now they are holding again. I'm not sure what that was about as our basic allergies we treated 13 years ago have held pretty steady. I can only guess that the anti-biotics messed up my gut flora and created the problem. Odd that it was to fruits and veggies though, but I had been eating a ton of them on a month long Green Smoothie girl cleanse after taking the anti-biotics, so that is possibly the connection to the fruits and vegetables since it would make sense that I would develop allergies to the things I was eating. This is the most successful allergy treatment out there and well worth it. We were not even charged more than $45 a visit, which is amazing considering it gets rid of most allergies in 1 day! Sometimes there is an initial charge of about $150 for the first visit, since it takes longer.

We are a huge fan of NAET too - going on 12 years strong. Only thing they couldn't fix was my wheat 'intolerance' - turns out it was an enzyme issue. Got fixed up with Veganzyme - have you tried it? Really helps with the intolerances re-activating too.

I am not good at taking a lot of herbs and vitamins, is this part of the treatment. I have Ic. I have tried so many different kinds of treatments. I just want to find something that gives my body what it needs to heal itself.

NAET completely saved me from a debilitating mold allergy. I couldn't even walk into a room with dingy carpet or grime without having an episode, but after my treatment I could tolerate those conditions. I was also treated for a variety of other allergens, though none as powerful as the mold. YES it does work! If you don't understand it, read up on vibratory medicine, traditional Chinese medicine... NAET is groundbreaking stuff.

I can totally understand where your skepticism is coming from. I was a non-believer as well! I wanted to believe it ... and you know what? I went for it and it was the best decision I've ever made from a health perspective for myself, my mother and my girlfriend. It has changed our lives! Give it a shot and I guarantee you that you won't be disappointed. But you have to be patient and persistent.
PS: Find a practitioner with experience in field who has kept themselves up-to-date with the practice. Good luck :)

I’ve tried Naet for about a year, trying to treat a plethora of intestinal issues and many other side effects that stem from the gut (chronic fatigue, brain fog, allergies, “food intolerances”, acne, etc.). I truly believe that Naet is all placebo. I have been treated for many food and environmental substances, with every one seeming to help a little in the first couple of week post-treatment, but coming right back again soon after. With $65 a session, including $365 blood “testing”, I wish I stopped earlier. It’s so funny, looking back, all the signs were there...so many constant faces in the office, claiming to be almost done (being said for over a year), but still having the same original problem. If anyone ever wants to heal, all you have to do is eat healthily. Food is both the cause, and cure, of just about every disease imaginable. Stop wasting money on these magical “cure-all” therapies which have zero scientific backings. It’s the food...it’s the food.

Sorry! Never saw your response until now. No, I have not tried Veganzyme. I'm doing great, and don't have any problems right now. :) Glad to hear you found something to work for the enzyme issues.

I guarantee you it is not placebo. I totally did not expect it to work, nor did my husband or many of our friends and family members. When most people see how simple the treatment is, it is hard for anyone to believe it would actually work! But we have had most of our treatments hold up for over a decade, with only a few requiring a follow up treatment. Sometimes allergies can be emotional (developing a reaction that mimics an allergy completely due to being traumatized/abused/fearful... while eating something). These types of allergies may require an emotional treatment like EFT combined with NAET to help eliminate them. If you are dealing with a possible enzyme issue like with a milk allergy, then you may need enzymes, and not NAET. All 5 of our immediate family members have used this treatment for over a decade and we have sent MANY relatives and friends for NAET treatments for the same amount of time, and they have also successfully resolved their allergies. Sorry it did not work for you, but perhaps some of my other ideas may help you. Good luck.
