I am 34 years old and I have managed to live easily with my food allergies so far. But it looks that there is another issue that will bother me from now on – NRL allergy. The doctor said that it is not uncommon for those that suffer from food allergy (banana, kiwi) for a long time to develop this condition. How effective are medication for treating the symptoms of this allergy?

My guess is that you are already well educated when it comes to allergies and what has to be done and what must not be done. Avoiding the allergen is possibly the best solution for those allergic to that same allergen. But if the reaction does happen, depending on the reaction, different meds can be used to subdue it. For example, anti inflammatory meds in the case of skin rash.
