You know, it's extraordinary how weed affects people differently. Some get sleepy, some people (like me) get hyperactive and full of ideas.

Giving up weed is similar. Some people seem to manage without any trouble at all. Others (like me) go to hell and back!

I'm in my 50's now and started smoking when I was 16. That must be a whole field of weed! I finally quit exactly a year ago and I had a tough time. The first week was ok, but things got worse and worse...cramps, insomnia, anxiety and worst of all, pretty bad depression.

HOWEVER, one year on and I feel better than I ever have in my life. My mind is sharp and calm, I'm healthy and I'm HAPPY.

So I would recommend that anyone with a habit quits completely because you are better without it. I'm going to suggest one thing which pretty much saved me this last year...

MEDITATION.

I'm serious. Get yourself along to a decent meditation group...TM is ok, Buddhist Meditation is the real thing.

Then replace your cannabis habit with a meditation habit.

I now start each day with a 30 minute meditation session and I have received dozens of comments from family and friends about how well I look.

I have experimented with many drugs in my life, but I can tell you there is NO BETTER HIGH than the sheer bliss of a clear head and an energetic healthy body. No depression. No anxiety. No insomnia. And no hangover. Guaranteed.
