I have had a light back injury last week. I fell on the side, not on the back and I thought that I will just pass with bruises, but that was obviously not my case. Few days ago, I have started feeling back pain that made me realize that injury was not so benign. Doctor said that it seems that nerve was pinched and some more tests have to be done. As a painkiller, I was given Mobic. As I understood, Mobic is used for arthritis and treating pinched nerves is something like a secondary function. Is this drug any good?

Actually, it is. It has antiinflammatoric function, so it will deal with that pinched nerve of yours. The tissue surrounding that nerve has been affected by inflammation and it affects that nerve back, so you do need some medicament to deal with that. Mobic is very good for that. Since you probably wont be using it for some long period, you do not have to be afraid that you will suffer from bad side effects, and this medicament has those in a big number.
