Thank you so much for replying! I've been so stressed out about taking this awful pill. Can I ask if you were on birth control pills when you took it? I haven't been for about 5 yrs as I feel better off them and I know this sounds stupid but I panicked and didn't really know the morning after pill had such a massive dose of hormones!

I've been on lots of natural supplements to get my cycle back on track. Do u know anyone who had taken it? I'm worried my skin won't clear up and I'm stuck with this permanently. I've tried everything to try clear my skin.

I took it over four months ago and did feel really tired. Just haven't felt the same since. Has it caused any breakouts for u? My skin is worrying me - it ruined my complexion and messed up cycle. I think that is starting to correct itself. I regret taking it so much! How are u feeling now? I hope you have a better experience than me.

Is it possible to get your period after spotting? I took the pill 5 days ago and I have been feeling very tired and I just started spotting today? I just had my period around the 26th of October and I don't if after the spotting I will be getting my period.  How long do the side effects last after taking this pill?

Hi there. I took it about four months ago and I did spot 5 days after then I had bleeding. My cycle has been erratic ever since I took it. I'm not on bcp are u? Drs have said this should correct itself though do don't panic about that. I'm worried about breakouts and hair loss.

I just wanted to share my experience with Plan B to maybe help ease some minds.

I take birth control but was prescribed antibiotics for a kidney infection in July, and it completely slipped my mind that antibiotics reduce the effectiveness of birth control. My gyno said I was probably fine if I'd taken my pills on schedule and not missed any of them, but I was still wary about the situation. So I took Plan B (on July 30) just to be safe.

My period is VERY regular because of the birth control. I started my period a day before I expected (on August 14) to two weeks after taking Plan B.

Fast forward a month (to September)—no period. I took three pregnancy tests—one a day after my missed period, and the other two spread out over the next several days. All were negative.

I had my period the next month (in October) as expected.

Then, I missed ANOTHER period (at the beginning of December). I had VERY slight spotting about a week before I should have started, but that's it. Again, I took a couple pregnancy tests, and both were negative.

I started my period today (January 2) as expected.

All this to say, Plan B can throw off your cycle for MONTHS, even if you're taking birth control to regulate it. Hope this is helpful!

Last month, I took Plan B the day after unprotected sex. I got my period but it was EXTREMELY light which is unheard of when it comes to MY periods. I am always heavy with heavy cramping to top it off.

Now its this month and I have a lot of cramps but no period! Last month I started on the 11th and now here it is again the 11th and no period. But cramps galore.

I am glad I came across this site to ease my mind. I guess it will come when it comes. I do have a check up appointment (Yearly physical) at the end of this month and if it doesn't come before then I will tell her to give me a test!

I took the morning after pill 2 hours after the condom broke during sex while we stopped straight away and my boyfriend hadn't *** I thought better safe then sorry, (I'm only saying this because I was also on the 4th day of my period) i had a fairly normal period however it lasted 2 days longer then normal then I spotted for 3 days after. It's been nearly 3 weeks since then and yesterday I thought i had started my period though im not due on for 5 more days however it's stopped today and I'm just lightly spotting. It's weird because now I feel like I'm just waiting for my period to start it's driving me crazy!!!!! I hate the morning after pill I've only had it once before and it made my period about 2 weeks late you worry like hell throughout wondering if its worked you go through numerous HPT and you end up delaying it further.

So, I had unprotected sex for literally about 1 minute.. I am on the nuva ring birth control and had been for about 3 weeks. Just to be safe I went any bought the plan b pill and took it roughly 15 hours after the incident. I removed my nuva ring Saturday morning as scheduled and I usually get my period around 3 days after I remove it. It is now the fourth day it has been out and I have no period symptoms. However, the week after I took plan b I had horrific cramps and felt as if I should have been on my period then. I also took 2 hpt they were both negative. I am assuming plan b has messed up my cycle.

I took Plan B twice in a week. About 6 days after the 2nd pill, I got my period, on day 18 of my cycle. That was on 1/18/13. I also started taking birth control pills on that day. Period lasted about 4 days, like normal. Then we had sex again on the first day of no period (used a condom and it didn't break!!) and almost right after I started spotting again. I have been spotting now the past few days. It has been a week now since I got my period, which I know doesn't seem like long but it's driving me nuts! My periods are usually only 3 days, 4 max and I never spot for days. I really hope it goes away and I go back to "normal." I am someone who ovulates every cycle (I was TTC for awhile so I tracked ovulation) and is very regular with my periods, so I'm not used to this wonkyness! Someone tell me that this spotting will go away! lol
