Morning After Pill experiences- anyone?? Messed up cycle, early bleeding?

I took the pill in June 12 hours after I had sex. I am really paranoid about getting pregnant so I am pretty much on this thread to hopefully ease my mind. I have a weird period and sometimes it comes and some times it doesn't and it changes dates sometimes.. A week after I took the pill I got a normal heavy period. Which eased my mind a bit then 2 weeks later I got a really light period....and then I started freaking out because I know you can have light periods like that when you're pregnant... Even though I had an early heavy one... Am I just being stupid and paranoid... Now I am waiting to have a period again cause I sometimes get it the beggining of the month but I didn't get it yet... Ugh I will probably be worried for 9 months:p

Kay, so I had sex for the first time (unprotected) stupid I know, sunday night at like 3 am. And we woke up and right away got the next choice pill. I took it at 10 so there isnt a big time difference, and I was wondering if it works, and how late I'll be getting my period. I got it today last month so i don't know.. my periods usually never on time anyways. I'm just a little worried any help and details would really be amazing because I don't know what to think..

I took pill a few days after having my period which was only 2 weeks ago & here we are 10 days later and i am bleeding again.ive never experienced this before after taking it,this is so annoying.

Day X: Unprotected sex

Next day: Took Plan B, then menstruation started the same day as well, for 3 days.

15 days later: Bled again, for 3 days which is the normal length of my period.

19 days later: Bled again, for 3 days.

 

Now hoping my cycle reverts back to its usual 27 day schedule soon. In the meantime, I am eating a lot green veggies and taking iron supplements because this is too much bleeding in 5.5 weeks :(

My period is not the same anymore after I took the pill. I don't get any signs that my period is coming. My boobs don't get sore, I don't get cramps, etc... My period hasn't been the same ever since I took it. I usually get my period a few days after my mom but now it's been weeks since I haven't gotten it and I'm not pregnant what is wrong with me !?

So I was raped on Aug 2, 2013 at 12:30pm. 4 hours later I took the Next Choice One Dose. I'm not sure how close I was to my period (my cycle is irregualar but if I had to estimate, I would say within the next 2-4 days I would have received it). I had the worst case of cramps, nasuea and headaches/dizzy spells ever! I experienced the light spotting that everyone has been saying exactly 1 week later (from the 9th to 14. Not sure if this would be consided my period or just from the pill). The side effects have slowly decreased since then. I started testing to see if I was pregnant starting from the 16th (testing dates 16, 26, 29, Sept 5, 11, 15). All tests have come back negative so far. I have an apt scheduled today to get a blood test done. I have yet to receive my period. No sign of one either (although, I do have lower cramps off and on but no discharge which happens right before). Today marks 45 days after the incident; 33 days since my last 'bleed'. Has anyone else gone this long after taking Next Choice without a period? Could I be pregnant? I don't have any other symptoms besides mild cramping and I have a 4 year old so I'm not experiencing any other symptoms I had with him while I was pregnant....Any help/information would be great! Thank you :)

 

*UPDATE* - So I got the results back from the blood test - Negative. However, the lab tech stated you won't know for sure until after at least 10 weeks after intercourse. I will re-test again in another 2 weeks! This is completly nerve wracking. No signs of a period yet either :(

I took the MAP and the same as you olivia7, i had a little period for about 4 days. 2 weeks later it started again really heavy at the moment im now 4 days into it. the 2 weeks in between i had extreamly painful cramps, nasuea. im hoping next month will be better and back to normal. i hope this sort of helps.

So I took the morning after pill on Aug 14, 15 minutes after the condom broke. It was also the day my period ended. I had another period??? 6 days later, but it did not feel like one. It was light the first day, heavy the second and third, then ended on the fourth. 11 days later I got my normal period sept 3, cramps and all. But it was 3 days early! I lost a lot of blood in August from all this. Now it's oct 3 and I'm due for a period today!  But I'm concerned. Is the pill still effecting my cycle?  Like Im having a hard time starting. I'm irregular too, so this makes it more complicating.  I've had no symptoms or anything. Just the feeling it's about to start. Ive been so stressed out about it! I'm 23, and with my bf of 5 years. 

I took the morning after pill about half an hour after unprotected sex and when I had sex i was only 2 days after my last period then 6 days after the sex (8 days after my last period) and now I've started my period again, not sure how long it will last yet but its been a day and a half.

How long did this last?! I've got the exact Same prob now!!!

Hello, I'm having some trouble after taking the plan b pill as well. I just want to know if anyone is experienceing the same or can give me some advice on what to do. 

 

So last month I took the plan b pill about 2 days after my period had finished. The doctor told me that it would make my period 2 weeks late or 2 weeks early. I was also getting a refill of my birthcontrol patches so she told me to wait until my period is over to start my patches again so i did. I asked if my period will be regular or will it just be spotting and she said she didn't know.

 

A few days after i took the pill, I started to get spotting so I thought hey this must be my period. It lasted for 2 days and then it stopped. I waited until that sunday to put my patch on and I've just started my week 3 patch on sunday. I've noticed that i've been getting this really dark clumpy blood every now and then when I pee or I can feel it like leaking. Its not alot but Its never happend to me before. My concern is basically whats going on? I'm on my patch so i should not be getting my period. If its not my period then what is it and why is it happening. Is it normal? And what does that mean for my patch? Will it be affective if i don't use an alternate form of birth control? 

Someone please help me, I don't know what to do.

I took Plan B in August, and my period is still messed up in November. I took it not too long after my period in August. Then, I had a second period that month. I had 2 periods the month that I took it. The next month, September, my period came two weeks late. In October, my period was two weeks early. I had never experienced it so early. This month, November, it came on the date it was supposed to, but it only lasted 2 days. I took a pregnancy test last week, and it was negative. My period is just messed up still from Plan B.

I know this comment was a while ago, but I took the morning after pill nearly a whole year ago and my cycle is still messed up. It comes randomly, never around the number of days since the last, and I get REALLY bad cramps. I can't do anything for the first two days,

I took the morning after pill and had my period a little over a week after and about a week early. It was a normal period but the next month i didn't get a period. Is it normal for the pill to mess up your cycle? Or could i be pregnant?

I took the morning after pill and it has been 6-7 months and still NO period. Pregnancy test negative, blood work shows the levels of the morning after pill is still affecting my hormone levels. Weight gain.....20lbs. BUT.....NO moodiness, no cramps, no nothing.....including period. I thought I was going through early menopause, but the docs say no. They said sometime in the next couple months I will get my period, or thy will give me a shot. I think NOT....no period, done having kids, so come on menopause! I am 40 years old....never had any kind of issues. Any thoughts? Oh, took morning after pill because stupid Dr Snip gave my hub a vasectomy, then gave us someone else's info and said my hubs vasectomy was good, so he could no longer get me pregnant. Then the next day, he called and said OOPS. So, morning after pill. Any other people had this experience? Kind of concerned, but kind of relieved.
