I have this ugly muscle on my shin/to the side of my shin and I was wondering if there was a way to get rid of it w/o completely immobilizing myself. It's called Tibalis Anterior, look it up.

This is a very important muscle, I don't suggest you get rid of it.

If you'd rather it were not so big, I suggest you pay attention to your gait. If you are walking or running leading with your heel, the tibialis anterior is the muscle that cushions this impact. If you land with the ball of the foot or the entire foot, the TA will have less to do and it may atrophy over time.

To compensate for this, the back of your calves (gastrocnemius, soleus) may become larger.
