My Aunt is mental retarded so it is hard sometimes to get the right info out of her, but when she was staying with us over Thanksgiving, she started to throw up fecal matter. It came out everywhere and did it smell. We had her taken to the E.R after the second time and we actually saw it happen and they dignosised it as Eosinophilic Esophagitis. I looked this up and it does not sound right to me. They did a cat scan and saw no blockage but she is still doing it. I have no idea what to do but I am concerned for her that it might be something a little more serious than a food allergy. She has already seen a GI doctor and I think that they are blowing her off because of her mental state. What else should we do? What could this be if they did not see a blockage?
