My Father had an MRI which showed mild diffuse cerebral atrophy; mild to moderate amount of microvascular ischemic change within the periventricular white matter; abnormal signal throughout the brain stem mainly within the pons consistent with basilar proliferator microvascular ischemic changes; no cortical infarct, mass, haemorrhage nor hydrocephalus; the conclusion shows mild to moderate microvascular ischemic changes; we have an appointment with a Neurologist several months away; he has been experiencing extreme vertigo; what does all this mean?
