My Parents had a home built in NC 2 1/2 years ago. She has been complaining of headaches & sinus problems and shortness of breath when she returns home (especially after it rains). She is fine when she is out or out of town. WHen she returns home, it takes her breath away. They did have a leak from a porly sealed chimney, but that was repaired & the house tested for moisture in the walls. They said it was fine. She said the smell is worse in the garage & inside near garage, but it bothers her throughout the home. She has been put on inhalers & allergy medications, but nothing helps.
She did have the home tested for mold, but they said the mold found was a very common, mild type that should not bother her.
Who can she call to hep her?
