I had my period over a week ago and yesterday i started spotting a little but i figured it was totally fine and didn't wear anything to bed. That was a big mistake because at 4 am i woke up with blood all over my sheets. I rushed to the bathroom and put a tampon in which only lasted about an hour. My periods have never been heavy like this ever and i don't know what is wrong!! I am going through a super tampon and pad (which i have been wearing together since i am a high school student and don't want to leak in my desk) an hour and when i take the tampon out piles of blood come with it. I understand this is normal since it is the uterus lining but it is getting gradually bigger with each tampon and my mother won't do anything to help me and says it's normal!! PLEASE HELP
