my vagina is swollen, itchy, red and burning

i recently had chlamydia and i took two pills for it 3days ago, before that its been itchey and would start to burn if i strached around the hole of my vagina too much. but even after the pills its still itchey, and now it really burnes and is red and swollen. does it mean i still have the sti? or i jus have to wait longer because your opposed to wait a week for it too be cleared of the sti its only be 3 full days since ive taken the medicine.
