What are the Nebulisers? I need some info about it. I was told that I can inhale myself with nebuliser, but I haven’t seen one before and I don’t know how to use it. Can someone help me with this?

Nebulisers are small plastic devices, which contain the drug solution. They convert drug solution into a continuous fine aerosol mist, normally 1-5 microns in size which can be inhaled directly into the lungs via a mouthpiece or face mask by deep and usually rapid inhalation. A flow of gas between 6-8 l/min is normally required to drive the nebuliser. Although nebulisers are easy to use they are inefficient in drug delivery, Particles larger than 5 microns will deposit in the nasopharynx and those smaller than 1 micron are likely to be exhaled without impacting in the smaller airways
