My neck and shoulders feel better since the operation 3 1/2 months later, however... my throat is always swollen because the plate or screws rubs against it, some times I feel pain like it is digging and starting a wound,... my Doctor didn't like to hear it and tells me that is not suppose to happen and could be psychological, If any body have had this problem, please I like to know, I am afraid this woild turn in to a serios problem and the Doctor just don't want to have any complications and like to get rid of me A.,S.A.P.

I am Patricia Nelson I was in Texas When I had my Fusion .I had it a year ago my throat is sore all the time, like now I have lost my voice, my throat is sore and its only on that side.Where the fusion&the plate.Now it has felt like that since i had my surgrey.It feels like something is in my throat blocking my air way.I did not have any Rehab at all.
