Is there a difference between fibrosis and pulmanary fibrosis? My husband had to be taken to hospital with great difficulty breathing, after a few tests he heard the dr tell the nurse it might be Fibrosis and also theres a shadow on his lung.He is awaiting an appointment now to see a respiratory specialist. He has worked as a welder for the last 25 years and he started having difficulty with his breathing 3 months ago, but after being out shopping for 5 hours he came home in a right state. I am worried , and any input would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou
