Has anyone experienced or knows of anyone who experienced a negative test about 7 days before AF due when they were actually pregnant? Had a negative result this morning with FRED. I read that a lot of women get positives by now. FRED had always given me the right answers in the past.

(My dpo are based only on online calculators and CM, but I honestly don't know when I actually ovulated.)

Tried to conceive starting 8 days from the start of my last period. At 5 dpo woke up at 3am with cramping, and had a different sense of smell in my nose. Later that evening, I had some spotting. Bright reddish pink, mixed with CM and a little brownish a little later on that night. I do not normally spot like this especially 10 days before my period and I track my menstrual cycle very well.  

Today at 9 dpo my test was negative. Though I have a child and am in my upper thirties, I feel confused like in my teenage years.  The only thing keeping my hopes up would be the possible implantation bleeding, the internal activity in lower belly, the once in a while nausea and the fact that my breast are starting to feel sore and a little more swollen (Somehow they feel different than with AF;more hollow like.)
