Hello. I'm 47 years old female and I have some questions about some menopause symptoms because I really don’t know anything about this. I'm pretty new in this whole menopause issue because my period is missing only for a year.
I have already started in experiencing night sweats and frequent mood swings but I somehow learn to live with them. There is nothing that frequent showering and some massage couldn’t cure but the thing that is killing is these hot flashes all the time. There is no rule! Sometimes I get one or two in a week period and sometimes 10 in one day.
I couldn’t find any solution for this and I would like someone could explain me things I should know about these frequent hot flashes and techniques of avoiding them!

Hi. I understand that you are upset about all this but believe me, women for ages are fighting a battle with these problems and I ill tell you some information you should know about whole this.
You see, the truth is that our body is pretty shaken and disturb in menopause because, during menopause the body produces less estrogen and progesterone.
That confuses our body and as a result, the thermostat in our brain, the hypothalamus, gets mixed signals: is it hot or cold? This is causing hot flashes. By its medical definition- Hot flashes are sudden waves of heat that can start in the waist or chest. There is no real cure for this but there are few tricks- wear always a clothes made from natural fibers because it can disperse heat away from the body. Drinking more vitamin B, C, E and Magnesium also relieve these symptoms. Herbs commonly used to relieve hot flashes include ginseng, black cohosh, vitex agnus castii, blue cohosh and dong quai.
