Hi,

Over the last year a small lump has slowly started to grow, I managed to get insurance and have the thyroid hormones done and finally got the lump biopsied and it turned out it’s malignant thyroid tumor. Since it was limited to only one lobe of my thyroid, I had only partial thyroidectomy and for now I’m having checkups and trying to adjust to taking Synthroid. But I’m worried that if the tumor was there once, it’ll come back again and that maybe it would have been better I had total thyroidectomy.

My doctor convinces me chances are non-existent that is going to happen, but if anyone on here could help with opinion I’d be thankful.
