On New Years Eve (I’d had a period just before Christmas) I got really drunk and did some really silly reckless things. Anyway to cut I long story short I took the morning after pill at dinnertime on Jan 2nd this year which is now six weeks ago. I had what I thought was a period about a week after taking the morning after pill but it was very light and pain free and only lasted 3 days, which is very unusual for me as I normally have a period for 5 days which is quite heavy and painful (I have to take tablets from the doctor to help with the bleeding and the pain).Anyway I haven't had a period since and I'm scared I'm pregnant because my stomach is bloated and I’ve been getting allot of spots which could indicate hormonal changes. I’m just wondering if anyone knows how long the morning after pill can disrupt you cycle. A year or so ago I didn't have a period for 6 months but I wasn't having sex at the time and I was doing my A Level exams and awaiting my results so I was really stressed. I was really worried after New Years Eve too and I’m not sure if the stress of worrying and taking the morning after pill could have made me late.

There is no period after taking morning after pill. It's been almost two months now. Is that a common side effect?
