Hi honey! I am TOTALLY lost, so you do NOT have a vagina? And what operation did you have at 14? Also women go into puberty from 11 - 19 so you are still in the time frame of having a period! Do you have any underarm hair, or pubic hair? When this happens usually menstruation follows 6 - 9 months after! I just need to know what operation you had at 14 and what do you mean about no vaginal opening?

There HAS to be something going on down there - obviously! IF you were born without a vaginal opening, then I would think that perhaps there is more going on in that area! has anyone ever told you that you have ovaries? Obviously a gynecologist would have operated on you, so you need to talk to them and find out WHY you haven't had a period! I have never heard of this honey! So it's out of my league! And you will need ovaries to have a period, and or a thicker ultrasound lining! My cousin was born without a uterus! So I am wondering if this is the same for you! And you can only get these answers from your doctors!

They should have also be following you and trying to help your periods etc.! There are pills they can give you that can help bring on your periods! You need to talk to them honey! And you need to be followed VERY closely! Can you tell me if you had a vagina or did they have to reconstruct one for you? As I think that IF you didn't have a vagina - originally - they probably are just leaving your ovaries as they are (so it doesn't affect your new vagina) BUT if you did, but just not the vaginal opening, then I am pretty sure they should be able to bring on your menses! It is ALL about your hormones right now honey! Do you have breasts, underarm and pelvic hair?
