Is it true that OCD patients are very well organized? A friend of mine has problem with his mother for the past couple of months, and it seems that her condition has gotten even worse in the last weeks. But, if she is concerned about organization, then I assume that she should not be that difficult to take care of, right?

Well, the problems with OCD patients is not in those actions they take, although they are a clear symptoms of their condition. The problem is in the obsession part which might be related to anything, even to some thoughts that are not remotely connected to our reality. So, those actions are actually a way to subdue those obsessions. And those patients are concerned with details, planning, organization; they try to perfect all of that as much as possible.
